Individual therapy at Gather is built on a simple premise: when you feel truly heard by someone who understands what they're doing, change becomes possible. Our sessions are a collaborative partnership — not a lecture, not a checklist — where you set the pace and we bring the expertise.

What Individual Therapy Looks like

Each session is 50 minutes of dedicated, confidential time with your therapist. There's no formula or script — we meet you where you are on any given day. Some sessions are about processing something that happened that week. Others go deeper into patterns that have been running quietly in the background for years.

We work with adults navigating a wide range of concerns: anxiety that won't let up, depression that drains the color from things, relationships that keep hitting the same walls, grief that hasn't found a place to land, and life transitions that leave you wondering who you are now.

Sessions can take place in-person at our office or via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth — whichever feels right for you. Many clients use a mix of both.
